クラブワールドカップ第二戦、アフリカ王者アル・アハリ対北中米カリブ海王者CFパチューカとの一戦が行われました。何度か書いているように結構中米のサッカースタイル面白くて好きだから応援していたんですけど・・・・パチューカを。まさかこんな面白く展開してくれるなんて思っても居ませんでした。
前半で2-0とアルアハリ有利な試合展開。でも支配率は全然パチューカの方が支配しまくっていました。結局攻撃力に勝るパチューカが本気の猛攻。圧されはじめたアルアハリのDFが崩れはじめファールで止めFKあたえちゃったりと、結局後半終了時点で2-2に追いつき延長戦へ・・・カップ戦の恐ろしさ一発勝負の恐ろしさです。延長戦にはいると後半終了間際の猛攻というより少し試合も落ち着き始めたかな・・・と思ったらどっかんどっかんとさらにパチューカが２得点。2-4の大逆転勝利を収めたのです。
なんか、この2-0からの2-4大逆転劇先日のJリーグ最終節でどこかとどこかのチームの試合で劇的残留劇を決めたあの試合に似てるよなぁ・・・。まぁとにかく面白い試合展開でした。これが真剣勝負ですね！

A delightful for the Los Tuzos. I am delighted by the fact that it was remarkable comeback courtesy of the brilliant performance of Christian El Chaco Gimenez. Being a big fan of Argentina, I was rooting for Pachuca because of they have Gimenez, Alvarez and Bruno on their side.
Chaco’s second goal was pure class and even more as he combined well with Alvarez. Typical stuff from the Albiceleste. I wish them all the best against LDU but it will be tough as the Ecuadorian side will be tough nut to crack.
But respect must also be given to Al Ahly for their spirited display that they have produced. They showed courage and confidence in their game which not surprising as they are the reigning Kings of Africa.
